Remembrance Day November 11 2025

The Remembrance Day parade was led by Band Marshall Bob Blair of the Henderson Highlanders Pipe Band and Sean Cleaton, Band Leader. The procession included Brighton Branch 100’s colour party led by Astrida C, war veterans led by Don H, air force members, the Brighton 100 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion RCACC, and other groups

Many dignitaries participated throughout the ceremonies, including Pam Sweeney (Executive Director RCL Ontario), Pastor Wanda Stride (who gave opening and closing prayers), LCol Barry Tang (ATESS), Mayor and Northumberland Warden Brian Ostlander, and Greg Kobald (Deputy District F Commander, who served as Master of Ceremonies).

Wreath Presentation at the Cenotaph

Some dignitaries who laid wreaths included: Michael F, President of Branch 100; Art L; Brighton Mayor and Northumberland Warden Brian Ostrander; LCOL Barry Tang; Brighton Ladies Auxiliary President; and Branch 100 First VP Astride C.

Wreaths were also laid by representatives from various organizations and members of the public.

Legion Assembly Following Opening Ceremonies

Kathie W and her team served chili and dessert at the gathering.

The Henderson Highlanders, led by Sean Cleaton, entertained in the afternoon.

The pipe band received thanks and positive feedback from attendees.
